Borderline Electra

Everything in Rachel’s life is crumbling. She has suffered a whirlwind of abuse, but now is the abused becoming the abuser? With a troubled Father and a new lovable love interest, can she break free from her prison of torment, or will she forever remain a pawn in a squiggly wiggly game of oopsies?

A Play Written and Directed by No Ego Theatre Productions’ Stevie Helps.

‘Borderline Electra’ is an extraordinary piece of stagecraft. This production features all the best elements from previous versions of the Show (Dragged Up, Rachel, Happyminds Hospital) It is now shorter, faster and the most exciting version yet. With a brand new ending.

Based on some true life stories including some of the authors own experiences with mental health and psychiatric hospitals.

WARNING: There is dark and emotional content. Offensive and disturbing scenes.

A play with ADHD, BI-POLAR and a BORDERLINE PERSONALITY DISORDER of it’s very own!

The play was previously titled ‘RACHEL’, which performed to a sold out audience at The Lowry on 13th January 2018 and received rave reviews…

“The play feels like you’ve immersed yourself in a psychotic nightmare which can only help remind us that for some people with mental health this is their harsh reality.”

“would be the ideal show for politicians who think that the NHS is not struggling to deal effectively with mental health. It shows that mental health is not an issue where one diagnosis fits all unlike a broken arm or a cut hand”
